Joplin's music scene has evolved, de-evolved, erupted, melted, turned on, tuned in, dropped out, and self destructed only to be reborn time and time again. From the days of Walking on Einstein through the Big Bad Chubba and the Mega Melt Slam on through to Cinna the Poet, The Ben Miller Band and The D-Boyz, the Joplin Music Scene has maintained, sustained and ordained bands of such genre and ambition as to run the gamut of musical experimentation.
