Using the interface, select a category of classified ads to browse. Clicking on the category name will take you to the top level of that category, meaning that the items displayed will fall into each of the categories underneath the top category. This is a good way to find items that people have not inserted well enough, or with enough specific information.

If you click on the little plus sign, the category will expand, allowing you to view the sub-categories as well. When you have expanded the tree as far as any one category will lead, the plus sign will turn into a minus sign. Then you can click on the category name and view listings in that category.

When you are viewing listings you will have the option of filtering the displayed listings by several dimensions; distance (from where you live), price, listing date, etc. You can also enter keywords to further refine your search.

To get started, just select a category, and on the next page type in your zipcode (the default zip code is 64801, so if you live in Joplin you won't have to type anything) to show listings near you!

If you can't see the category list, or the links don't work, or the tree won't expand when you click the plus sign (+), that means that your browser has javascript turned off. At this point, you can either turn your javascript on, using your browser's tools->options feature, or we have also made available an alternate menu you can use to find listings.
